I have a lot of friends which you will be seeing pictures of, just not today.I love all of them to death.They are complete freaks and idiots but there my freaks and idiots.Some of my friends are in band.Like Hailey,Becci,Jessica,Nathan,Patrick,Zak,
Allissa,Arron,Brendon and a few other people.You might know about solos and stuff like that but, they do them in front of judges and a huge group.Well Mr.Carney wants us to know how it feels without the judging.So today we were able to pick if we wanted to be in a group of one ,two ,three, or four.So I'm in a group with Becci,Jessica,and Reagan.Becci is a trumpet player.Jessica is a trombone player.And me and Reagan play the french horn.So all of us together are playing a piece.The thing is this is one of the hardest pieces for me and Reagan.So I'm just glad that Becci and Jessica are OK with that if we don't practice enough were going to mess up the whole thing.Today is March 10 so we only have 22 days to practice including the weekends(so that means are concert is on April 1)I am so excited but at the same time not so much.So yeah.........

I was in band when I was your age. I played the flute. Band rocks! Enjoy it as much as you can. Even when it's not so fun, it's still a good thing! Love you!

The best part of life is to explore all kinds of avenues. Playing with the band is a great experience and it sounds like the friendships you are making is a highlight. Having friends you love is sooo important! I'm glad you love your's. I played trumpet for awhile in school but was to lazy to practice so I gave it up. The main thing is that you're not afraid to try new things, it's what makes you the awesome girl you are!! Love you, Gpa Pat
