BAND,FASTPITCH AND COLLEGE...

Last Thursday i went to on a eighth grade field trip, for band. The eighth grade band is so small Mr.Carney(my band teacher)decided that he would take some seventh graders. He said the ones that he could tell have been practicing could go.I was so excited that i got to go.There was something like 40 bands and we came in fourth. We did a really good job and he was proud of us.This Thursday some of the seventh graders get to go to the green river community college. The kids that are going are the kids that the teachers thought would take this into consideration.I am so excited we get to go into classes and we get to see the dorms and we get to eat lunch with some of them. We get a tour of the whole school and we get to meet most of the teachers.I am so glad that i got picked. This Thursday i also started fastpitch. It was so fun. I usually just play left field but they said i would make a perfect short stop.So i tied it and i loved it.i have one of the best throws on the team.On Friday i was going to my friends house so i stayed with her after school because her dad couldn't pick us up right away.So we went over to the field where the boys baseball team was practicing.Mr.Lee is there coach and he just happened to be my coach when i played for the school. They were out in the field shagging balls and my friend hunter missed one.So i went over to go pick it up when i decided to just throw it to the other person. We were other the way over on the other side of the field.I thew a perfect throw and Mr.Lee started asking why the boys couldn't throw like that.I was proud of myself. So with that i bid you ado...

It sounds like you have been busy. Fastpitch sounds like it has been fun. I have always been terrible at baseball/softball. I had a good throw, but I could never hit the ball. I was always terrified when it was my turn to bat. Best wishes to your team!

Way to show the boys up, Siobhan! Good job with band, too. I hope you keep it up. I can't wait to hear about your field trip to Green River.
